The SpaceHack is an initiative that uses serious game methodologies to build a collective entrepreneurial action to explore future space industry potentials.
The objective is to gather the different relevant players (Corporates & Startups, Academic & Educational bodies, Support institutions) of the space industry to operate a common action to explore critical innovation topics of the industry and address needed domain skills & expertise to bring innovation to market.

The event with take place in Belval – Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) at Technoport incubator facilities (9, avenue des Hauts-Fourneaux, L-4362 Esch-sur-Alzette) on 12th & 13th November, 2021.

Everybody having an interest in space technologies, coders, scientists, designers, makers, builders, technologists, where teams engage with industry players to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
Two registration possibilities: Team registration and Individual registration
Team registration
Please note that the first team member registering in the platform will be considered as Team Leader and will send an invitation to other team members by completing the registration form.
We advice to create a team of maximum 5 people.
Individual registration
While registering you will define your profile, and you will be further invited to join a team prior to the event or during the event.
During your profile registration you will be redirected to the participants’ corner. This is the dedicated area for your team for the SpaceHack. There you can see all the published challenges, and you will be asked to select your preferred challenge to answer during the hackathon (no worries your selection will be updatable). That said, be aware that the challenge will be allocated on a first come first served basis on the hackathon date.
You will receive at the hackathon launch an indicative process to guide your project under 3 development phases. 3 project check-points/reviews will be operated by the challenge sponsors and/or coaches (After 6-8hrs Concept pitch, After 12-14hrs Solution design review, After 18-20hrs Solution Pitch)
We do recommend to have power naps, we will provide rooms for you to rest, bring your own sleeping bags we have the mats.
All meals are included. And we will provide a steady stream of coffee.
Yes! By that, we mean any device that will aide you in creating something new and exciting.
So we are thinking computers etc.
The participants’ corner is the area where you will publish the description of your solution during the contest, and where before the end of the 24 hours you will upload the final files “Pitch presentation + Applicable technical files…” so that the jury and the coaches can review.
Be aware that your participants’ corner will be showcased as Submitted Project on the SpaceHack website 2019. By participating in the SpaceHack you agree that we can disclose the related information that you published in the participants’ corner.
The publication of the result files “Pitch presentation + Applicable technical files…” will be communicated at the discretion of the challenge sponsor.
The intellectual property of responding to a challenge is within the challenge, which means that the ownership of a solution is linked to the initial proposed challenge (challenge sponsor).
Participants cannot claim any ownership. The event is meant to encourage collaborations across the topic sponsors and participants.
